Hi!! So in Hiveswap act 2 Daraya says something about her and her cloistermates being the ‘best of the best’ or purest (or something along those lines) among the jades, which is why they’re in the cloister to begin with. Any possible headcanons for what she meant by that?

i went to go double check the exact line and she says, "not all jades get chosen but apparently we're the purest of the pure." Which, obviously with the handful of the ones we've seen so far, is obviously not true LOL.

My personal headcanon is that the statement is purely arbitrary and only serves as empire propaganda that they nail into every jades' heads during orientation to make those who got chosen for the cloister feel more special and better about giving up their freedom and autonomy for it... Tell someone that they were given a special role that no one else can get, they would probably work hard to prove they deserved it, right?
